Food Pantry Program, implemented in collaboration with Zafar Mir Foundation, is a key initiative addressing food insecurity in Burewala and surrounding areas. Beneficiaries are carefully selected through a structured assessment process and re-verified quarterly to ensure transparency and that support reaches those most in need, including widows, persons with disabilities, low-income families, orphans, minorities and elderly individuals.
Each month, families receive essential food items such as flour, rice, lentils, cooking oil, sugar, and spices, with packages tailored according to family size to ensure adequate nutrition. The program has contributed to improved food security, better health outcomes, and strengthened community support. With continued collaboration and community contributions, it remains committed to ensuring that vulnerable families have consistent access to basic food necessities.
