The Hunar Foundation Zainab Technical Institute, located in Shah Faisal Colony, Burewala, is a collaborative initiative dedicated to expanding educational and professional opportunities for girls and young women. The institute is committed to empowering them with practical, industry-relevant skills that foster financial independence and enable meaningful participation in today’s evolving workforce.
Through thoughtfully designed programs, students receive hands-on training while developing strong entrepreneurial capabilities. These skills open pathways to self-employment and sustainable careers, positioning the institute as a hub for growth, confidence, and long-term economic empowerment.
This initiative is the result of a strategic partnership between Rouha Welfare Trust, Dr. Muhammad Yasin, and The Hunar Foundation. Rouha Welfare Trust laid the groundwork by generously donating the land and building.
Dr. Muhammad Yasin, originally from Burewala and a resident of the United States, serves as a cardiologist in Oklahoma. Driven by a deep commitment to giving back to his hometown, he envisioned this institute as a transformative platform for the young women of Burewala and supported its establishment by funding the initial capital expenditures.
The Hunar Foundation contributes its extensive expertise in managing and operating vocational and technical training institutes across Pakistan, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, skill-based education aligned with industry standards.
