PROF. RANA ASGHAR ALI KHAN HUMANITARIAN AWARD​

Prof. Rana Asghar Ali Khan Humanitarian Award honors students in Burewala who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to humanitarian causes, promoting positive change and improving the well-being of communities or individuals.

Established in memory of the late Prof. Rana Asghar Ali Khan, the visionary founder of Rouha Welfare Trust, the award celebrates his lifelong commitment to education, healthcare, and social service. His legacy of compassion and selfless contribution continues to inspire generations to serve humanity with sincerity and purpose.

Each year, the award includes a cash prize of Rs. 500,000, a certificate of recognition, and the recipient’s name displayed on the main wall of the Prof. Rana Asghar Ali Khan Academic Block at Govt. Graduate College, Burewala. Awareness sessions have been conducted in schools and colleges, and a comprehensive policy with an independent verification committee ensures a transparent and unbiased selection process.

To maintain its value and significance, the award amount will be reviewed every two years, preserving the spirit of recognition and encouraging continued humanitarian service.
